Prof. Dr. Şadıman Kıykaç Altınbaş
OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNECOLOGIST, ANKARA
Dr. Şadıman Kıykaç Altınbaş graduated from Bursa Anatolian High School, then enrolled in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 2001 with the title of Medical Doctor. She completed her specialization at Ankara Etlik Maternity and Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital, which she entered with a high score in the Medical Specialization Examination, earning the title of Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
Following her mandatory public service, she qualified to start as a “Chief Resident” at Ankara Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital as a result of the “Chief Residency Exam” held in 2010. Between 2010 and 2016, she worked in the Delivery Room, Perinatology, and Infertility clinics. From 2016 to 2018, she served as the Head of Education for the Gynecology Clinic as an “Instructor”. Between 2018 and 2020, she continued her role as the Head of Education for the Gynecology Clinic as a “Faculty Member” at Health Sciences University. During this period, in 2019, she spearheaded the establishment of the “Chronic Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinic” and managed its clinical follow-up and surgical activities.
In 2013, Dr. Altınbaş received training in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Gynecological Surgery, her special area of interest, at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals, Columbia University, New York. In the same year, she completed her certification training in Assisted Reproductive Technology (IVF).
In 2014, she received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In 2016, she successfully completed the Minimally Invasive Gynecological (MIG) Surgeon Level diploma program within the scope of GESEA (Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment) in Barcelona (Advanced Laparoscopy-Hysteroscopy training).
Her areas of interest include gynecological-urogynecological and reproductive endoscopic surgical procedures, endometriosis, infertility, and chronic pelvic pain. In this context, she performs laparoscopic (closed) surgeries (laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy preserving the uterus, treatment of bladder, uterine, and bowel prolapse, chocolate cyst-endometriosis, ovarian cyst removal, laparoscopic treatment of ovarian and tubal abscesses (tubo-ovarian abscess), reopening of blocked or ligated tubes, hysteroscopy surgeries (hysteroscopic removal of intrauterine polyps and myomas, opening of intrauterine septa and adhesions, isthmocele repair).
She is an advanced laparoscopic & hysteroscopic surgeon. She also has high-level experience in gynecology – infertility – risky pregnancy management and surgery.
She has numerous scientific articles, oral and written presentations published both domestically and internationally on these topics and continues her scientific work.
Dr. Şadıman Kıykaç Altınbaş is married with one child.

It also ensures reliability in accepting patients from abroad and is a prerequisite for operating legally in the health tourism sector.
